In celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Bodoland, the 13th Baokhungri Festival 2026 will be held from 12th to 14th April 2026 at Harinaguri, Kokrajhar. The festival brings together faith, tradition, vibrant cultural performances, and exciting indigenous games, reflecting the unique identity and community spirit of the region.
Organized by the Tourism Department, BTC, in collaboration with the Departments of Sports & Youth Welfare and Cultural Affairs, BTC, the festival aims to promote cultural tourism and showcase the traditions and heritage of Bodoland to visitors and locals alike. The three-day celebration offers a memorable experience filled with traditional rituals, cultural displays, and community participation, making it a truly special event for everyone.
